Today is first of November and I am once again participating in NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month. The idea is to, during November, write a 50000 word long novel. I have participated every year since 2012. I will admit that I have never completed the challenge, I am at the beginning of November usually very excited to write but has really never a plan on where I am going. Yes, I do not really have a plan this year but I am going to try anyway. I like writing. And now, when I am currently working from home, I might at least be able to squeeze in some writing when I would have traveled to and from work.

Are you participating in NaNoWriMo?

I am also wanting to participate in at least one reading event in November, a Gilmore Girls inspired readathon called Gilmoreathon that will be the 15th to 22nd of November. I have not started planning anything for the readathon yet so I will do a better update on this closer to the event, probably I’ll just read what I feel like and then check of the prompts if any of them fit.

I am current reading Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. I think this was the very first book I put on my to read shelf on Goodreads when I became a member. I have not come very far yet but I think I will like it.

I ordered some books today and I am very excited for them to arrive. I do not think they will be sent until the 16th so I will have to wait for a while but I am excited in any case! I have been wanting to read some short stories for a while and two of the books are short story collections and they are so pretty!
