Monday/Weekly update #68 – I have been buying books

Have I been buying lots of books?

Yes.

For the last two weeks, books have been arriving in my mailbox from two book orders, each book arriving in a different parcel. I’m not sure why they are sent in different packages, maybe it’s convenient during these times to get everything in the mailbox. I don’t complain, it’s very exciting to check the mail every day. I think there is one book still out there but then all have arrived.

I just bought a bundle of books. These are all in pdf or epub formats so I think I’ll have to test out the reading tablets I’ve borrowed for these books. Or read them on my phone. I am excited in any case. The bundle contained 19 books (!!), for example Geekarella, Wonder Women and My Lady’s Choosing.

I can’t wait to start reading some of my new books!

What am I reading at the moment? I am still reading Richard Castle’s Naked Heat, there has been a few books in between but now this is ongoing again. I finished a Swedish christmas book, Dan före dan by Felicia Welander, last night. I liked it. And today I’ve finished two books; Aprilhäxan by Majgull Axelsson (which I really didn’t like) that I’ve been reading together with my work book club and I also finished listening to First Test by Tamora Pierce. I have read First Test before but it has been some years since last time now, I really enjoyed listening to it and I will definitely continue to listen to the rest of the series as well.

Oh, and I finished NaNoWriMo! It’s the first time since I started that I’ve actually won. I’m proud of myself. I’m letting it rest for a while and then maybe I’ll see if I will do something with it. Now I can go back to reading and try to post here more regularly!

What are you reading at the moment?

About Yrsha

I love reading, writing and sending letters and postcards. I have (too) many plants and enjoy being out in the forest.
