No Bookaplathon update yet, opsie. I guess you’ll have to do with a summary when it’s over. What can I say, I have done other things instead, like reading.
I’ll give you a general update on what has happened in my reading since last week and what I’m reading now, I hope this won’t be too much of a ramble.
Buzzwordathon was last week, I thought this was going to be an easy finish to read my two books A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Nattsköterska (Night Supervisor), but I spent most of my week finishing the University book club book Stay With Me instead. I finished A Midsummer Night’s Dream, I ended up reading most of it in Swedish instead. I didn’t understand everything but I liked it anyway. I might re-reading it sometime in the future and see if I understand more then. This book is on my book challenge for 2020. I have now finished two books on the challenge this month, we’ll see if I manage to get to a third one as well before September is over.
I did also start reading Nattsköterska but I still have about 100 pages left.
My work book club has started reading Tre män i en båt (Three Men in a Boat (Say Nothing of the Dog)), this book isn’t in the Bookoplathon challenge because we won’t be finishing it in September. But starting this book most probable means that I won’t be able to finish all the books that I have on my reading list for September for the Bookoplathon. I have however read more this month that I have on average this year so I’m happy either way! I like Tre män i en båt so far. It feels like we’re following a storyteller that is very good at getting sidetracked in his storytelling.
I also wanted to throw in a reflection over my Goodreads reading goal.

33 books ahead of schedule, not bad! And 16 books before I reach 100 books. That should be reachable, yes? I hope I didn’t jinx it now.
What are you reading at the moment?
