A few of my friends at Uni and I started a book circle two years ago. Last year one of us studied abroad so the book circle was a little on hold. This year, we are still not complete but we are going to give it a try anyway. It was my turn to suggest books this time. It was a close vote but we ended up picking The Little Shop of Happy Ever After by Jenny Colgan. We also have a new member trying out, I hope she will like this!
I have been baking a lot lately, trying new recipes. I have a journal where I collect recipes I find in books or on the Internet somewhere that I want to try. There are two cookbooks that I would love to glance through. The first one is Reese Witherspoon’s Whiskey In a Teacup. If I understand it correctly there are not only recipes in this one, there are also stories and tips included.
The second cookbook has not been released yet, it is Pull Up a Chair: Recipes From My Family to Yours by Tiffani Thiessen. After having watched the tv series White Collar I have followed her on Instagram and the food pictures she posts looks delicious!
At the moment I keep myself quite busy. I am going my last year at Uni and in the evenings I sing in my choir, bobbin lace, do sports and try to find time to be with my boyfriend and my family. This weekend I have nothing planned and it feels very good. I think I am going to start the weekend by talking a walk and see if that apple tree my brother and I used to pass on our way home from school have any apples left to filch.
I hope you are having a nice weekend,
Yrsa
