Ever Bloom can see people’s auras and knows what they’re thinking. All she wants to do is to hide from the world. Until Damen comes. She doesn’t have to keep everyone out of her head when he’s around.

Evermore is the first book in The Immortals series. It’s followed by Blue Moon, Shadowland, Dark Flame, Night Star and Everlasting. Everlasting comes out the 7th of June 2011.

I kind of thought that this book was going to be better than it was, it wasn’t really how I expected it to be. I like that it’s different from other books in this category. I’m a bit curious what’s going to happen in the next book. Recommended if you want to read a different fantasy book.

Ping and Kai are searching for the Dragon Haven after finding Danzi’s secret map. Ping has trouble making sense of the map as none of the places marked exist. Just as she was about to give up she realises that it is written in a code. Along their journey they run into difficulties, Ping is captured by guards, Kai has been taken away from her  and she thinks that someone is following her. Eventually she finds the Dragon Haven, it is not as she had expected but it is what Danzi had wanted. Ping then learns that she must leave and venture on, living her own life, without Kai.

Ancient China Han Dynasty, Ping is caring for baby dragon Kai who has hatched out of the mysterious dragon stone which she carried on her adventure to the ocean with Danzi. Caring for a baby dragon is quite has proven to be a chellenge with only the little information Danzi had given her before flying to the Isle Of The Blest. Ping thinks that she is safe in the hands of the emporer but later realises that he is not the man that he claims. After finding Danzi’s secret map to where she must take Kai their adventure sets out again.

During the 13th century in Ireland, Carrick get trapped in a box with a spell. He’s punished because of what he is. In present time, Ally hear a voice in her mind and a strange man seems to appear in her dreams.

Echoes of Emilee is the first book in a series, it’s newly released.  The second book, Castella’s Seclusion, is on its way.

I liked this book. It’s different to other books in the same genre. Karin Rochelle has found a new kind of story, one that I haven’t read before, I like that. Karin Rochelle writes with a quite easy language, so there are no difficulties in understanding even if it’s not my mother tongue. If you like fantasy and want to read something new, I recommend this one.

I give this book 5 stars out of 5 possible.

Fruset blod är den andra boken i serien Vampire Academy om Lissa och Rose. Den första boken heter på svenska Törst. De följande böckerna, som har blivit översatta heter Skuggkysst, Löftet och Andens kraft. Den sista boken i serien har inte blivit översatt än.

Jag tycker bättre om Fruset blod än vad jag tyckte om Törst på svenska. Jag tror att om man läste den här serien på engelska först är det lätt att den känns lite fånig till en början när man läser den översatt till svenska då man inte riktigt kan översätta alla saker. Det kan vara så att jag vande mig vid översättningen och inte tänkte på den lika mycket som när jag läste första boken. Det känns som om böckerna är riktade till en lägre ålder på svenska. Om man tycker om vampyrer ska man absolut läsa Richelle Meads Vampire Academy.

I give this book 5 stars out of 5 possible.

Tänk dig att du vaknar upp på ett sjukhus. Du kommer inte ihåg någonting över de senaste åren. Du är snygg, rik, chef på företaget och gift med en främling. Så är det för Lexi. Snart upptäcker hon att allt kanske inte är så perfekt som det verkar.

Sophie Kinsella har lyckats igen. Jag tycker om hennes språk, översättningen av boken är mycket bra. Mitt nya jag är en typisk feel-good bok som man blir glad av att läsa. Passar för 15+. Rekommenderas starkt.

Flickan från tjugotalet – Sophie Kinsella

I give this book 5 stars out of 5 possible.

Laras gamla släkting Sadie har precis dött och det är begravning. Lara har alltid haft en livlig fantasi, men när Sadie dyker upp mitt under begravningens gång och kräver att få sitt halsband vet hon inte vad hon ska tro. Det blir inte precis bättre av att hon är den ende som kan se Sadie och att släkten tror att hon är nära ett nervöst sammanbrott.

Flickan från tjugotalet är en “feel-good”-bok. Sophie Kinsella skriver mycket bra. Den är en bok som man kan läsa flera gånger bara för att den är mysig. Sophie Kinsella skriver med humor och får läsaren att vilja ha mer. Lämpar sig för 15 år och uppåt. Klart läsvärd.

I give this book 4 stars out of 5 possible.

Rose Hathaway är Lissas bästa kompis. Det är hennes uppgift som damphir att skydda henne. Efter att de rymde för två år sedan förs de tillbaka till skolan S:t Vladimir som om ingenting har hänt. Rose måste nu öka sin träning för att ta igen det hon missat när hon var borta för att kunna bli Lissas livvakt när hon går ut skolan.

Törst är den första boken i serien Vampire Academy. De senare böckerna i serien heter Fruset blod, Skuggkysst, Löftet och Andens kraft. Den sista boken i serien Last Sacrifice har inte blivit översatt än.

Jag måste säga att jag tycker att den här boken är bättre på engelska. Det känns som att boken riktar sig till en yngre målgrupp än den på engelska. Vissa saker känns lite konstigt översatta, men jag tyckte ändå om den.

Ping is a slave girl who lives in the times of ancient China. She has a horrible master that doesn’t care for her at the least. Her job is to tend to him and the animals, one of them being a dragon. Ping rescues the dragon and ventures on a journey with him to the ocean which she doesn’t know the reason why, and must protect the mysterious dragon stone. Along the way they run into many difficulties like Dragon Hunters and Necromancers. Along this journey Ping learns that she is a true Dragon Keeper.

I decided to read this book as I have previously read it before. re-reading it now I realise that Caroles sentence structure is very short. As you go on in the book though you soon get used to the short sentences and read three or four as one sentence.

I give this book 5 stars out of 5 possible.

Paul skäms inte för vem han är. Han skäms inte för vem han gillar. Men har har inte det lätt för tillfället. Joni har dumpat honom och resten av gänget för Chuck, Noah vill inte se honom mer på grund av hans ex Kyle och mitt i allt ihop ska han planera skolans Glada änkans-fest.

Ibland bara måste man är så fin! Det är en så söt historia. Jag tror att jag definitivt kommer läsa den här boken igen. Mycket läsvärd.
