This is the first book in the Vampire Diaries series. Book two, three and four is called The Struggle, The Fury and Dark Reunion

I thought this book would be a little different. I can’t really explain how I thought it was going to be. But I like it anyway, it’s a good story.

Book number seven in the House of Night series. The earlier books in the series is Marked, Betrayed, Chosen, Untamed, Hunted and Tempted. The last book in the series is called Awakened and is coming out in January 2011.

I really like this series! I like the language, not to hard to unterstand and not to easy. I can’t wait until the last book is coming out.

Jinx – Meg Cabot

I give this book 4.5 stars out of 5 possible.

Jinx has really bad luck. She’s visiting her cousin’s family to get away from the trouble she has at home. The problem is that Jinx cousin doesn’t seem to like Jinx so much. She also thinks that she’s a witch and is trying to use spells to get what she wants.

I’ve read this book once before. It was a few years ago and didn’t really remember what it was about so I decided to read it again. It’s a very nice book. I like Meg Cabot’s writing style, it’s not a very hard English and at the same time nice to read. I recommend Meg Cabot’s books.

Hunted is the fifth book in the House of Night Series. The earlier books is Marked, Betrayed, Chosen and Untamed. The next books are Tempted, Burned and Awakened.

I think this series is one of the ones you have to read if you like vampires! There should be more series like this.

Bok nummer fyra, fem, sex och sju i serien om Ellie och hennes vänner i ett ockuperat Australien. Tidigare böcker i serien är I morgon när kriget kom, När natten är som mörkast och Den tredje dagens kyla. Jag tycker att böckerna är riktigt bra. Serien slutar på ett väldigt bra sätt.

I give this book a possible 5 out of 5 stars.

Elspeth is given a seven day deadline to return an unconcious gypsy to her people who she has no information about and her life could depend on it. Little did she know that on this quest she would have to do much more. Elspeth ends up going beyond land across the sea to the desert of Sador.

This book was cleverly written and contained much drama which kept me hooked right through to the end.

The Farseekers

I give this book 4 out of a possible 5 stars.

The Farseekers is the second book in the Obernewtyn series. The chronicle is about Elspeth Gordie. The previous book is Obernewtyn, the following books are Ashling, The Keeping Place and The Stone Key.

Named a honour book in the 1991 Childrens Book Council of Australia book of the year award you know it is going to be a good book before you turn the first page.

I chose to read this book as I read the first book Obernewtyn. The series is about Eslpeth Gordie, a Misfit who has a great amount of power, and a big adventure ahead of her.

I enjoyed this book though near the end it did get a bit confusing, but it put itself all back together later.

If you like books about mind powers and adventure you should consider reading the Obernewtyn Chronicles by Isobelle Carmody.

I give this book 3.5 stars out of 5 possible.

Den tredje dagens kyla är den tredje boken i serien om ungdomarna som hittills har lyckats att hålla sig undan soldaternas grepp under belägringen i Australien.

De två föregående böckerna heter I morgon när kriget kom (Tomorrow When The War Began) och När natten är som mörkast (In Dead of the Night). Nästa bok i serien heter Nu är mörkrets tid (Darkness, Be My Friend).

Spännande hur en bok kan ha ett slut som kan avsluta en hel historia men göra ett perfekt slut för en fortsättning om författaren så önskar. Det är inte alla böcker som kan ha det och samtidigt inte göra någon missnöjd genom att utelämna någonting.
